This is the highest grown coffee we have sourced yet, and what an absolute delight. Ana Sora is a renowned coffee farm located in the Guji zone of Ethiopia. The Ana Sora farm is independent (not a co-op), run by Isreal Degfa, who grew up in the Yirgalem area of Guji to a family working in coffee co-ops. 

At the extreme altitude of 2350 MASL, Ana Sora benefits from the region's fertile volcanic soil and favorable climatic conditions for coffee cultivation. The farm is known for its commitment to producing specialty coffee with unique flavor profiles, primarily cultivating Ethiopian heirloom varieties, which are renowned for their complexity and distinct characteristics. These heirloom varieties thrive in the region's rich biodiversity, resulting in coffees that showcase vibrant acidity, floral and fruity notes, and a sweet, lingering finish.
